We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to join our established engineering hub in Berlin. You’ll be stepping into a mature, integrated team and helping push it forward: improving our platform architecture, raising our quality bar, and building robust, scalable features that tens of thousands of users rely on every day. Tasks What you’ll be doing Your work will directly impact how thousands of companies and candidates experience hiring. Here’s what that looks like: Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps/platform teams to build meaningful features through our Agile SDLC/Kanban workflow. Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to retrospectives to drive continuous improvement. Define technical requirements and identify the best solutions to meet team goals. Participate in engineering retrospectives focused on testing, architecture, automation, and coding standards. Always think beyond the code - you’ll focus on delivering value and improving the user experience for our customers. Who you’ll work with You’ll join our Backend Guild, collaborating closely with Product, Platform, DevOps, and Frontend teams.
