Help us see what's possible. Join us. Your Role You will spearhead hardware testing at Orbem. Working side-by-side with MRI, Mechatronics, Compliance, and Software Engineers in Test, you will design rigorous test protocols and execute hands-on validation of every mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic component that ships with our automation and industrialised AI-powered MRI products. Your day-to-day Define, conduct and document hardware test strategies, protocols and quality gates for our automation systems and industrialized imaging unit. Define and create the right environment for in-house testing of sub-systems and components. Collaborate closely with the product development team, supply chain, field engineers and Software integration. Establish and own our QMS framework and testing process. Define and conduct testing strategies and protocols to assess our suppliers, visit manufacturing units and perform FATs. Your responsibilities include: Defining a long-term testing and quality strategy for our complex systems and building the required team and resources around this. Your Experience and Skills You have 5 + years experience in hardware, reliability, mechatronics or system-integration testing and have led a testing team in the past. Help us see what's possible. Join us. Your Role You develop edge software focusing on the seamless integration of industrial hardware , including MRI systems and automation peripherals. In our fast-paced environment, your technical expertise will be vital in ensuring high code quality. By leveraging best practices, you will implement scalable, robust, and AI-powered imaging solutions. This role allows you to unlock the potential of MRI technology, transforming it from traditional clinical settings into fully automated industrial applications. Your Day-to-Day Develop and optimize software for edge devices, ensuring seamless integration with automation hardware and MRI systems. Maintain consistent and reliable communication with automation systems and MRI devices, using technologies such as TCP, OPC-UA, Modbus, TTLs, PLCs, and industrial PC's. Design scalable software solutions, maintain Python code, develop automated tests, and manage CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with hardware suppliers and define APIs to guarantee device compatibility, optimize interfaces, and enhance hardware-software interactions. Conduct thorough testing to ensure integration success and troubleshoot any emerging issues.
