Headquarters: Dominican Republic URL: http://algaecal.com Description Bug Squisher Wanted: You’re an expert at making sure websites, storefronts, and backend systems work smoothly before they go live. But you don’t just catch bugs. You build the systems that catch bugs before anyone else ever sees them. You can spot flaky tests from a mile away. Your test architecture is clean, scalable, and easy for other developers to follow. And when it comes to troubleshooting, you’re relentless — in the best possible way. If this sounds like you, and you’re excited about a workday that’s fun, collaborative, technical, and full of purpose, let’s chat! AlgaeCal is on the lookout for a Lead QA Developer to bring their skills to our lively QA team and help transform lives, one stable release at a time. Small print here ⇒ We’re an eCommerce company. So, we want you to have eCommerce experience. Lots of it. You’ll be helping us improve the quality, stability, and reliability of our React-based storefront and internal middleware. So if automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and digital marketing technology don’t light at least a small fire in your belly, you probably shouldn’t read any further. Still here? Okay then… This job will give you ALL the feels: At AlgaeCal, we’re driven by a single idea. To end the fear of bone loss. In the United States, an estimated 54 million people have low bone density. The good news? AlgaeCal has the world’s only clinically-backed natural solution to this problem. We give hope to everyone worried about bone loss. If that excites you, you’ll find no better place to continue your career than at AlgaeCal. You’ll love it here: You’ll be working with a great team. The developers at AlgaeCal have been there, done that, and got the t-shirt. They’ve written more code than Alan Turing. They’ve learned more programming languages than C3PO. They’ve immersed themselves in so many development tasks that they’ve had to be pulled out of the Matrix by their ankles on a F

About the Role Thousands of engineers rely on this platform daily to inspect traces, iterate on prompts, and run experiments across their LLM applications. Full LLM inputs and outputs can span tens of thousands of tokens — your job is to make that experience fast, intuitive, and effortless . You love profiling React renders. You know when to virtualize, memoize, or restructure state. The data is massive — the interface should never feel like it is. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll own the performance and architecture of a complex, data-intensive web application used at scale by AI engineers worldwide. What You'll Do Build performant trace views — Own the rendering of large LLM data: identify bottlenecks, optimize data loading, and reduce re-renders so even the largest agent traces feel snappy. Own the React architecture — Shape how components are built, code is structured, and tests are written. Keep the codebase current with React Compiler and emerging patterns. Design and implement data visualizations — Build rich, interactive charts and tables that surface cost, latency, and quality signals from high-volume analytical data. Drive frontend quality — Write and advocate for unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Establish standards for code reviews and mentor peers across a small, cross-functional team. Collaborate cross-functionally — Work closely with product, design, and backend engineers to ship features end-to-end across the LLM development lifecycle — tracing, evaluation, prompt management, experiments, and more. Contribute to open source — A significant portion of the codebase is public; your work will be seen and used by a large developer community. What We're Looking For Required: 5+ years of frontend development experience building production web applications Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript Deep experience with React (or a comparable modern framework) and component-based architecture Proven track record optimizing web performance for
