Your creative field We are looking for a full-time, permanent Senior QA Engineer (all genders) to start as soon as possible . We live remote-first within Germany, but you have the freedom to choose whether you want to work hybrid or completely on-site due to your proximity to one of our locations. Contabo serves 180,000+ customers worldwide across VPS, dedicated servers, object storage and a growing cloud-native platform. Quality isn't a bottleneck function here – it's embedded in how we build. You'll work across multiple development teams on products that vary significantly in architecture, maturity and risk profile. The scope is wide and the technical surface is real. QA here means jumping between contexts and figuring things out, not just executing scripts against a stable codebase. You come in before development starts: read the requirements, flag what's untestable and push back early. You own the test strategy and update it as things change – not as a document exercise, but because the products actually change. You write test plans and test cases, run manual tests (functional, regression, exploratory, UAT) and build and maintain automated tests across UI, API and integration. We use AI tools actively: in development, in testing, in how we work day to day and we expect the same from you. That's not a trend we're chasing: it's how we stay fast without cutting corners on quality. You keep the continuous testing pipelines running and help the teams use them. When bugs come up, you write bug reports that developers can actually work with – reproduction steps, impact, everything needed to close it without a follow-up ping. Regular regression cycles after major releases are part of the job, as is running UAT with product stakeholders. What convinces us Your personality, paired with: 5+ years in software testing/QA, ideally in agile teams Test automation in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; hands-on with frameworks like Playwright, Frisby, or Supertest Experience using

What You'll Do You’ll identify open AI opportunities, build them from start to finish, and bring them to real users. As a Senior AI Product Engineer, you’ll work across our three product squads: You’ll single-handedly turn unaddressed topics into products, hand them off once they’re up and running, and serve as a sparring partner for the squad PMs on all AI-related topics. For us, “senior” refers to your approach to work, not your years of experience. You’ll report directly to Product Leadership. Your Responsibilities Independent AI projects (about half of your time) You’ll identify high-impact AI opportunities in our legal workflows - in areas where no specific squad is responsible Validation happens quickly: discussions with attorneys, Legal Ops, and insurers; prototypes built in days You’ll bring the winning solutions into production yourself: routing, chaining, summarization, and agent-based loops You’ll hand off mature features to the squad - complete with documentation, evaluations, and a handover plan Support for the squads (the other half) Feasibility, costs, model selection, risks: You’ll answer these questions before every AI feature is launched You support the teams in designing evaluations, golden datasets, and guardrails You review concepts before they go into the roadmap - including prompt injection and compliance risks (GDPR, Section 203 of the German Criminal Code) You advance AI best practices: prompt engineering standards, LLM observability, and agent-based coding workflows What you bring Must-have Multiple production-ready AI/LLM systems that you’ve shipped to real users and taken responsibility for - no prototypes Demonstrable product ownership: from a vague problem to a finished product Strong Python skills and a solid foundation in software engineering (Git, testing, CI/CD, code review) In-depth experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or similar - including an understanding of what’s happening under the hood Proficiency with LLM provider APIs: fu
