The increasing cost pressure in the German healthcare system poses a major challenge for hospitals: they must meet increasingly complex requirements to ensure that the services they provide are reimbursed fully and correctly. At the same time, more than 80 percent of German hospitals are already operating at a loss. With our AI solution, we already support numerous public, private and non-profit hospitals across Germany in automating and optimizing the entire process from treatment to payment. Our platform covers everything from automatically identifying the correct billing codes based on the patient record to improving documentation quality and managing lengths of stay. This allows us to support hospitals across the full range of medical controlling tasks. Due to rapidly growing demand, we are now looking for hands-on support for our small, ambitious team. Tasks Build, maintain and monitor integrations between our platform and hospital IT systems Work with APIs, HL7, FHIR and custom integrations Debug integration issues and improve reliability Develop scripts and automations for data exchange and system connectivity Help set up new hospital integrations Requirements You are studying Computer Science or a related technical field Good programming skills, ideally in Python Comfortable working with APIs and different software systems Strong debugging and creative problem-solving skills Independent and reliable way of working Benefits Learn how to build a profitable startup in the AI era Help shape the future of German hospitals Free access to the latest AI tools Work closely with the founders and have real ownership Competitive compensation Find Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow

Who is Heidi? Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that supports clinicians every step of the way, from documentation to delivery of care. We exist to double healthcare’s capacity while keeping care deeply human. In 18 months, Heidi has returned more than 18 million hours to clinicians and supported over 73 million patient visits. Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi across 116 countries and over 110 languages. Founded by clinicians, Heidi brings together clinicians, engineers, designers, scientists, creatives, and mathematicians, working with a shared purpose: to strengthen the human connection at the heart of healthcare. Backed by nearly $100 million in total funding, Heidi is expanding across the USA, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with major health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, MaineGeneral, and Monash Health, among others. We move quickly where it matters and stay grounded in what’s proven, shaping healthcare’s next era. Ready for the challenge? The Role As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll be embedded with our most strategic customers — the person who makes Heidi actually work in the real world. You'll own the full technical lifecycle from first deployment through to a thriving, self-sufficient customer: standing up integrations, building custom clinical workflows, debugging production issues, and becoming a trusted technical partner to the clinicians and IT teams you work with. You're not handing off to someone else — you're seeing it through. You'll work closely with Product and Engineering to surface what customers actually need, acting as the field intelligence that shapes the roadmap. What you'll do: Own end-to-end technical onboarding for enterprise customers — EMR integrations, SSO, SCIM provisioning, data pipelines, and security configuration. Work directly with clinical and operational stakeholders to design and build custom workflows that fit how care is actually delivered. This means

Who We Are Healthcare needs a better rhythm: one that keeps care continuous and deeply human. Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that works alongside clinicians to make that possible. We’re a team of doctors, engineers, designers, researchers, and creatives building tools that help clinicians stay focused on what matters most: their patients. In just 18 months, Heidi has given back more than 18 million hours to healthcare professionals - supporting 73 million patient visits in 116 countries. Today, more than ten million patient visits per month are powered by Heidi worldwide. Backed by nearly $100 million in funding, we’re growing in the US, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with leading health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, and Monash Health. The Role As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you’ll serve as the technical leader during the sales process - helping prospects understand what’s possible with Heidi, guiding integration feasibility, and ensuring a smooth transition into implementation. You’ll work closely with Account Executives, Solutions Architects, Product, and Engineering to navigate high-stakes enterprise requirements, including EMR integrations, SSO, custom data workflows, and security architecture. You’ll bring technical credibility, customer empathy, and a strong sense of ownership to every deal. The deals that matter most rarely fit the playbook, and this role belongs to whoever runs toward that ambiguity and builds the path through it when no one can hand them one. What you’ll do Technical Discovery & Qualification: Lead deep technical discovery with enterprise and mid-market prospects to uncover integration, security, and compliance needs. Solution Design: Collaborate with product and engineering to design tailored solutions that meet customer requirements while aligning with Heidi’s platform roadmap. Product Demos & Technical Presentations: Deliver compelling demos and architecture walkthroughs to technical stakeholders includi

About the Role We're building an AI-native operating system that helps nurse practitioners launch and run independent clinical practices — and we're looking for a Founding Product Engineer to own and shape the clinician-facing product experience. This is a high-impact, early-team role at a seed-stage healthtech company where you'll work directly with founders, designers, and clinicians to turn complex clinical workflows into polished, reliable software that improves care delivery. You'll be a defining voice in engineering culture, product direction, and technical architecture — not just an executor of finished specs. If you thrive at the intersection of strong engineering craft and genuine product ownership, this role is for you. What You'll Do Own major clinician-facing workflows end-to-end — from whiteboard through implementation, testing, rollout, and iteration. Collaborate closely with designers, founders, and clinicians to define product behavior rather than waiting for finished specs. Drive frontend architecture and technical direction across provider and patient applications. Influence APIs, data models, and overall system behavior while primarily owning the frontend. Iterate quickly from rough concepts to production-quality experiences alongside a product designer. Debug complex production issues spanning browsers, APIs, third-party integrations, and infrastructure. Contribute to engineering culture through thoughtful code reviews, technical discussions, and pragmatic decision-making. Leverage AI development tools as part of your workflow while maintaining full ownership of system design and production quality. What We're Looking For Must-haves: Demonstrated experience leading significant technical initiatives or owning major product areas. Strong hands-on experience with React and Next.js (TypeScript familiarity expected). Proven track record of owning user-facing features from concept through production. Comfort collaborating across the frontend/backend bo
