Today our infrastructure-as-code runs on Pulumi (TypeScript) across a multi-account AWS estate, with promotion still largely manual. We're moving to a true trunk-based CI/CD model: developers work in short-lived branches, every merge to master automatically deploys to production, and each merge request gets its own ephemeral preview environment before it lands. Contabo · 🇩🇪 GermanyRemote57y ago

Your creative field We are looking for a full-time, permanent Senior QA Engineer (all genders) to start as soon as possible . We live remote-first within Germany, but you have the freedom to choose whether you want to work hybrid or completely on-site due to your proximity to one of our locations. Contabo serves 180,000+ customers worldwide across VPS, dedicated servers, object storage and a growing cloud-native platform. Quality isn't a bottleneck function here – it's embedded in how we build. You'll work across multiple development teams on products that vary significantly in architecture, maturity and risk profile. The scope is wide and the technical surface is real. QA here means jumping between contexts and figuring things out, not just executing scripts against a stable codebase. You come in before development starts: read the requirements, flag what's untestable and push back early. You own the test strategy and update it as things change – not as a document exercise, but because the products actually change. You write test plans and test cases, run manual tests (functional, regression, exploratory, UAT) and build and maintain automated tests across UI, API and integration. We use AI tools actively: in development, in testing, in how we work day to day and we expect the same from you. That's not a trend we're chasing: it's how we stay fast without cutting corners on quality. You keep the continuous testing pipelines running and help the teams use them. When bugs come up, you write bug reports that developers can actually work with – reproduction steps, impact, everything needed to close it without a follow-up ping. Regular regression cycles after major releases are part of the job, as is running UAT with product stakeholders. What convinces us Your personality, paired with: 5+ years in software testing/QA, ideally in agile teams Test automation in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; hands-on with frameworks like Playwright, Frisby, or Supertest Experience using

You'll take ownership of a meaningful slice of our detection and response capability — tuning what our SIEM catches, building the automation that speeds up how we react, and being a first responder when something looks wrong. What you'll be doing Plan and deliver detection and response work end-to-end — from a new detection rule to a fully automated response — within your area of ownership. Build, tune and maintain detections across our SIEM (Elastic) and AWS environment, closing gaps that existing coverage misses. Own an investigation queue: triage, investigate, escalate and resolve security incidents, and write up findings clearly enough to stand on their own. Build runbooks and automations (Python, and no-code tools like Zapier or Tines) to cut manual work out of triage and response. Make and document risk decisions in your area, and know when to pull in others. Support our compliance programme by keeping the controls you own audit-ready and contributing evidence for audits (e.g. SOC 2, PCI DSS). Use Terraform and Python to build and maintain the infrastructure behind your detections and tooling. Join our on-call rotation for incident response and monitoring. What we're looking for Hands-on experience building and tuning detections in a SIEM (Elastic preferred; Splunk, Sentinel or similar also welcome) Experience with AWS and cloud-native detection and response Comfortable

We're hiring from India and Europe for timezone alignment with the broader team. What You'll Do Review and analyze customer support tickets to understand reported issues, extract reproduction steps, and translate problems reported by customers into actionable bug reports for the engineering team. Reproduce bugs reported by customers across different environments and configurations, ensuring the engineering team has the context they need to fix issues efficiently. Design, write, and maintain test plans and test cases covering both the open source platform and Enterprise Edition features. Maple Tales builds reading and language-learning apps that real schools use every day. A Flutter-based reading app for elementary students, a teacher dashboard, and a white-label language-learning platform running under several school brands. We're a small team, so this isn't a shadowing role: you'll ship real fixes and features into production apps, work directly with the founders, and see your work reach classrooms within days, not sprints. Instrument new features, analyze user journeys, and turn what we learn into product improvements. Prototype new reading and language-learning experiences and help turn the promising ones into production features. Improve our automated testing and monitoring so we catch regressions before our students and schools do. Cargo One · Remote (EMEA)Remote57y ago

🏆 What's the opportunity? cargo.one is the AI-native operating system for air and ocean freight. Logistics still runs on manual work, disconnected tools and messy data. Since 2018 we've been building the data foundation, and the AI agents on top of it, that let freight teams quote, book and manage rates in a fraction of the time. Today more than 30,000 users across 172 countries run on us. Ocean is our newest frontier. We've just brought ocean freight onto the platform alongside air, in one workspace powered by the same AI, and we need people who can make that ocean data rock solid from day one. As our Content Operations QA Analyst (Ocean) , you're the sharp eye that keeps this data trustworthy. Freight forwarders send us detailed rate sheets, and increasingly our AI helps process them. You'll compare the processed data with the source documents, correct discrepancies and make sure every figure is right before a customer sees it. You'll build a strong understanding of ocean rates and surcharges so you can spot what doesn't add up. Content is the foundation much of our product rests on. This data powers the quoting of freight solutions by our customers to their own customers, the shippers: a forwarder wins that business on the rates we serve. We're backed by leading investors, including Index, Bessemer, Point Nine, Creandum and Lufthansa, and we work remote-first in a positive, feedback-driven and genuinely fun team. 🌍 Where you can work We're remote-first. You can work from (almost) anywhere cargo.one is able to employ through our partner Remote . We're a remote company, but we regularly meet in person, too. 🎬 A snapshot of what you'll be doing here Quality-check the ocean freight contracts, rates and surcharges that our partners and AI populate, cross-checking every entry against the source rate sheets and tariffs. Work through a steady queue of contracts with care. Follow the QA steps and record what you checked. Learn how ocean rates and surcharges work so you
