Headquarters: Dominican Republic URL: http://algaecal.com Description Bug Squisher Wanted: You’re an expert at making sure websites, storefronts, and backend systems work smoothly before they go live. But you don’t just catch bugs. You build the systems that catch bugs before anyone else ever sees them. You can spot flaky tests from a mile away. Your test architecture is clean, scalable, and easy for other developers to follow. And when it comes to troubleshooting, you’re relentless — in the best possible way. If this sounds like you, and you’re excited about a workday that’s fun, collaborative, technical, and full of purpose, let’s chat! AlgaeCal is on the lookout for a Lead QA Developer to bring their skills to our lively QA team and help transform lives, one stable release at a time. Small print here ⇒ We’re an eCommerce company. So, we want you to have eCommerce experience. Lots of it. You’ll be helping us improve the quality, stability, and reliability of our React-based storefront and internal middleware. So if automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and digital marketing technology don’t light at least a small fire in your belly, you probably shouldn’t read any further. Still here? Okay then… This job will give you ALL the feels: At AlgaeCal, we’re driven by a single idea. To end the fear of bone loss. In the United States, an estimated 54 million people have low bone density. The good news? AlgaeCal has the world’s only clinically-backed natural solution to this problem. We give hope to everyone worried about bone loss. If that excites you, you’ll find no better place to continue your career than at AlgaeCal. You’ll love it here: You’ll be working with a great team. The developers at AlgaeCal have been there, done that, and got the t-shirt. They’ve written more code than Alan Turing. They’ve learned more programming languages than C3PO. They’ve immersed themselves in so many development tasks that they’ve had to be pulled out of the Matrix by their ankles on a F

Maple Tales GmbH · 🇩🇪 Frankfurt, GermanyRemote57y ago

Maple Tales builds reading and language-learning apps that real schools use every day. A Flutter-based reading app for elementary students, a teacher dashboard, and a white-label language-learning platform running under several school brands. We're a small team, so this isn't a shadowing role: you'll ship real fixes and features into production apps, work directly with the founders, and see your work reach classrooms within days, not sprints. Tasks Ship features and fixes across our Flutter apps, including our student reading app, language-learning app, and teacher dashboard, on both mobile and web. Maintain and extend our white-label language-learning codebase that powers several branded language schools. Work directly with Firebase, from Firestore data and Authentication flows to Hosting deploys and Remote Config. Help us build a real CI/CD deployment pipeline. We already lint and test in GitLab CI. Deployment is still manual today, and we want you to help us change that. Test across browsers, devices, and branded instances to catch inconsistencies before our schools do. Review code, pair with the team on harder bugs, and contribute to technical decisions. Help us understand how students actually use Maple Tales. Instrument new features, analyze user journeys, and turn what we learn into product improvements. Prototype new reading and language-learning experiences and help turn the promising ones into production features. Improve our automated testing and monitoring so we catch regressions before our students and schools do. Build reusable components and internal tooling that make it faster to ship features across our apps and white-label brands. Requirements Enrolled student in Computer Science (Informatik), Business Informatics (Wirtschaftsinformatik), or a related field, available for roughly 20 hours per week during the semester. Based in Germany and legally eligible to work in Germany as a working student. Ideally, you are based in Frankfurt am Main or the su

memodio · PotsdamRemote57y ago

memodio is a digital health application (DiGA) fighting forgetfulness and dementia 🧠 Our app is prescribed by doctors, fully reimbursed by German statutory health insurance, and recommended by leading medical associations. In a clinical trial with 140 participants, we showed that it measurably improves memory performance, everyday independence, and quality of life. More than 10,000 people already trust memodio. We've been on the market for over five years. So we have the speed and ownership culture of a startup, without the chaotic early days: a validated product, paying reimbursement partners, and real users who notice when we ship something good. Now we're growing the engineering team. Where you sit: anywhere in the world. We're a small distributed team, not a company with a remote policy bolted on. The one requirement is overlap: at least four hours of your working day between 09:00 and 18:00 Berlin time, because we solve problems together, not by throwing tickets over a wall. How you join us: as an employee or as a freelancer, whichever fits your situation better. Tell us which you'd prefer when you apply. Tasks Our core product is live and helping thousands of people, but it's far from finished. A big part of this role is evolving the existing app to better fit the people who actually use it: adults aged 50+, often dealing with early-stage cognitive decline. Every improvement you make has a direct, visible effect on someone's day. Beyond the core product we're building new and adjacent products, including ones with AI capabilities. If working with LLMs excites you, there's real room to shape that. If it doesn't, that's fine too. How the role works You won't get finished designs and implementation specs to execute. You'll get problems, context, and user needs and the freedom to figure out the best solution. That's deliberate: it's where the creativity and the ownership live. It also means the job asks you to think about what to build, not only how . Today our C

1KOMMA5° At 1KOMMA5° , we pursue a clear vision: Living on wind and sunlight forever for free . To make this a reality, we are building the energy system of the future with Heartbeat AI. Want to be part of it? We bring together regional craftsmanship and scalable software: We don't think of solar, batteries, heat pumps, and e-mobility as isolated components, but control them as an intelligent, integrated overall system in our virtual power plant. Directly connected to the electricity market – in real time, fully automated. This way, energy is used when it is available from renewables and particularly cost-effective. By 2030, our goal is to transition 1.5 million households to renewable energies. Over 3,000 people are working towards this every day, at more than 80 locations worldwide, from Finland to Australia. Want to take responsibility and build solutions that truly matter? Apply now and help us shape the energy world of tomorrow. Learn more about our Product & Tech team! Deine Position As part of one or two cross-functional mobile product teams, you will own the quality of our Flutter apps, and change how we approach testing. AI-driven QA is the differentiator in this role. Our QA team already uses AI for test generation, but we want to go much further. You will help invent this from scratch: autonomous exploration, smarter test orchestration, self-directed QA workflows, and QA systems that detect product risks before they reach users. This is not a "write test cases and file tickets" role. You co-own product quality end-to-end, tell engineering teams where the gaps are, and build the systems and practices that let us ship with confidence. Faster, not slower. You think about quality as something you design into the product and process, not a checklist you run before release.
